A person living with dementia may need more care and support as their condition progresses. Care can be provided in both residential and nursing settings on a permanent or respite basis. However, staff never lose sight of the fact that, first and foremost, Sanford House is home to our residents. Sanford House Nursing Home is a modern purpose-built care home in Dereham, providing the highest standard of nursing care and nursing dementia care for up to 40 elderly people. All rooms and services are laid out over the ground floor and the home is arranged in a quadrangle around an attractive sensory courtyard garden. Many rooms feature patio doors accessing into the courtyard area. The Sanford Behavioral Health aftercare plan is personalized and addresses emotional triggers, coping skills, and a lasting connection to the resources established during treatment.

The male gendered counterpart to Cherry Street for Women, Sanford House at John Street captures the town and country atmosphere that is signature to Sanford Behavioral Health.
